Pre-Production Planning Document (audience)

we wanted the audience of our movie to be teenagers between the ages of 14-18 the reason for this is because it would give a more realistic view of teenage life. I am aware that bullying can happen at just about any age and can happen beyond high school. Our movie represents high school which is why we decided to put our age group between 14-18. although it is this age group anyone is welcome to watching the movie.

Pre-Production Planning Document (logo)

The production of our logo didn't take much time, but it did take a lot of brain storming, we wanted our logo to be something different and to stand out. we wanted to be sure to also represent our school in the logo since our production company name also includes our school mascot. it took us about 2 days to come up with a logo. we all made different ideas and worked together to find and design the right logo for our production company.

Research: Shot Sizes

In a movie, the shot size has a significant meaning. In a movie, the director wants the camera to be at a specific angle so that it can capture the entire scene without needing to explain. In a character's point of view, a turned camera could also mean a character's head. The directors position the angles to ensure that viewers see exactly what you intend for them to.  The location at which the movie camera or video camera is set up to shoot a shot is designated by a camera angle. You get the impression that you are actually in the movie. A film's narrative, topic, and general mood can all be enhanced by using a variety of camera angles.

Research: Makeup

With makeup there are so many different things you can do to give off different vibes. When you give an actor a makeup look that may look basic and regular it would look as à regular everyday makeup look. In the movie we did (pennywise). The makeup was a scary unsettling look that give the vide of scary. Aka a clown.  Activity 3 Mise en scene Codes Setting Acting Costume Hair and Makeup.pptx (sharepoint.com) Also with the fascial expressions. With the makeup the clown gives an uneasy feel to the viewers that would make the feel almost bad for the other actors.

Research: Setting

In movies, colors are occasionally used to depict the artwork that is on exhibit in the current scene. In movies and television shows, red, green, and blue are both primary and secondary colors that are created as a result of primary colors. This means that red, one of the main hues, is said to stand for sacrifice, peril, and bravery. Red now, however, also connotes additional meanings, like heat, activity, passion, sexuality, fury, love, and joy.  The color green is a symbol of life, fertility, renewal, and rebirth. It was frequently used in movies to show life and new growth akin to that in plants, which would brighten the scene.  Activity 3 Mise en scene Codes Setting Acting Costume Hair and Makeup.pptx (sharepoint.com)

Research: Theme

The theme is the idea or moral of the story or show. It shows a main conclusion and idea. When you determine the theme you can then get a better idea or understanding of what something is going to be about. We analyzed the theme of hunger games. We determined that the theme was that kids get selected to fight for survival.  Activity 3 Mise en scene Codes Setting Acting Costume Hair and Makeup.pptx (sharepoint.com)

Research: Acting

The world of entertainment depends heavily on actors. They are responsible for establishing an audience connection between the screenplay and the story by accurately portraying the audience's feelings and ideas. The people that make a show come to life are the actors. When performing live on stage, in front of a camera, or from behind a microphone, they are in charge of portraying unique personalities and interacting with the audience.  By their very nature, actors are communicators. They have the power to impact the future of society through their work. Through the use of images, sounds, and tales, art, including theater, film, music, and other forms, enables communication between individuals from many cultures and historical periods. A performer is a person who acts, sings, or dances for the purpose of entertaining an audience. Activity 3 Mise en scene Codes Setting Acting Costume Hair and Makeup.pptx (sharepoint.com)

Research : Hair

Hair is a a small part of making the foursome of a show come together. Hair can show a vibe of someone  and the mood.   For example, if the hair is messy and not put together like it would for a normal day then you can get the mood or idea that the person is going through a rough problem at the moment in that scene.   Activity 3 Mise en scene Codes Setting Acting Costume Hair and Makeup.pptx (sharepoint.com)

Research: Costume

Costume is the most important part of any and every actors mane look. When people watch movie and shows that is the first thing the notice, the way the actor dresses. They way people dress helps you identify the personality of the person and truly grasp their style and who they play in the show or movie.    Activity 3 Mise en scene Codes Setting Acting Costume Hair and Makeup.pptx (sharepoint.com)
