Research: Acting

     

The world of entertainment depends heavily on actors. They are responsible for establishing an audience connection between the screenplay and the story by accurately portraying the audience's feelings and ideas. The people that make a show come to life are the actors.

When performing live on stage, in front of a camera, or from behind a microphone, they are in charge of portraying unique personalities and interacting with the audience. By their very nature, actors are communicators. They have the power to impact the future of society through their work. Through the use of images, sounds, and tales, art, including theater, film, music, and other forms, enables communication between individuals from many cultures and historical periods. A performer is a person who acts, sings, or dances for the purpose of entertaining an audience.
