In movies, colors are occasionally used to depict the artwork that is on exhibit in the current scene. In movies and television shows, red, green, and blue are both primary and secondary colors that are created as a result of primary colors. This means that red, one of the main hues, is said to stand for sacrifice, peril, and bravery. Red now, however, also connotes additional meanings, like heat, activity, passion, sexuality, fury, love, and joy.
The color green is a symbol of life, fertility, renewal, and rebirth. It was frequently used in movies to show life and new growth akin to that in plants, which would brighten the scene.
