Introduction to color and film Preliminary Exercise 5 Primary, Secondary, Black and white and warm/ cool colors

Colors are sometimes utilized in movies to represent the artwork that is displayed in the current settings. Red, green, and blue are both main and secondary colors, and they are the colors that are produced as a result of primary colors in movies and television shows. This means that the primary colors, which include red, are described as representing sacrifice, danger, and courage. However, as time has passed, red has acquired new connotations, such as heat, activity, passion, sexuality, anger, love, and joy.

Green is a representation of life, fertility, rejuvenation, and rebirth. When often employed in a movie, it would depict life and new growth similar to that in plants, brightening the picture.
