Preliminary Exercise 6: Digital Camerawork Organizer: Camera Composition

This is section 4, in this section we talk about the rule of thirds shot, symmetry shot, asymmetry shot, leading lines shot, shapes shot, deep focus shot, and shallow focus. These shots focus on capturing people's actions and moods. My favorite from this section is shallow focus (foreground in focus and background out of focus) and shallow focus (foreground out of focus and background in focus).      I like both of these because it shows the meaning and suspense behind what's happening.  Ajanae cant stop smiling after knowing that her brother and Nate really made things right.   Nate is So sad and doesn’t feel like he is being seen or heard. It's hard being a new student.

Preliminary Exercise 6: Digital Camerawork Organizer: Camera Framing

This is section 3, in this section we talk about one shot, two shot, three shot, four shot, crowd shot, point of view shot, over the shoulder shot, and insert shot. these shots show one's emotion towards what happening in the scene. My favorite shots in this section are the over the shoulder shot and point of view shot.     i like the over the shoulder shot because in shows what someone's emotion is towards what is being said or done to them. In this shot..  Nate sees Kim in a JROTC uniform and  starts talking to her and calling her solider.     I like the point of view shot because it shows what someone is seeing whether in realistic or not it shows what they see and what they believe is real. In this shot...  Nate is taking a snack break from school  after buying Ajanae a snack.

Preliminary Exercise 6: Digital Camerawork Organizer: Camera Angles

This is section 2, in this section we talk about camera angles such as high angle shot, low angle shot, eye level shot, Dutch shot, overhead shot, hip level shot, knee level shot, and ground level shot. These different angles capture the events that are happening in the movie and what they mean. My favorite shots from this section are the high angle shot and low angle shot.    I like the low angle shot because it shows Dominice and power.  Ajanae's brother looking at Nate for the first time and trying to intimidate him.      I like the high angle shot because it also shows power but from a different angle.  Nate finally meets Ajanae's brother, James. James doesn't like how  comfortable  they  have been. Not knowing that they're just friends.
